Basement Sports Founder Remarks on the Upcoming Summer Sports Camp
I recently had the privilege of sitting down with Basement Sports Founder and CEO Arman Rousta. A former All-Ivy League Student-Athlete who currently coaches Youth Soccer with the Jersey City Soccer Association (JSCA), Arman shared his enthusiasm for our upcoming Summer Sports Camp.
The camp will begin on July 11th, and will run for two weeks. Sessions will take place weekdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
“The kids will be active the whole time,” Arman said. “They’ll be playing multiple sports, as well as using the Basement Sports app, and competing in a friendly environment.”
Participants will receive three hours of hands-on training across multiple sports, with a primary focus on soccer.
“We’re making them fresh food as well: organic smoothies and soups,” Arman continued. Blend FC, a partner organization of Basement Sports, will provide the refreshments.
“The goal of the camp is to get kids to be active,” Arman concluded. “To be physically fit, build sportsmanship, build bonds, and to learn the values of teamwork, while they also work hard to get better at one or several of the sports that they’re playing . . . It should be a good time!”
